File transfers stay on your network.

DroppingSparks sends file contents directly between approved computers over an encrypted local connection. File contents and transfer history are not sent to the account service. Nearby discovery shares a computer name, device identity and local connection information with nearby computers. The app stores its device identity, approved friends and transfer history on your computer.

Your account and purchase.

Supabase provides account registration, sign-in and license storage. Account records include your email address, purchase references, license status and activated computer names and identifiers. The website saves your sign-in session in this browser. The desktop app uses the operating system’s secure storage for its account tokens and signed activation.

Payments and hosting.

Stripe processes payments. DroppingSparks’s server receives payment references, the amount, currency and payment or refund status, and connects your license to your signed-in account. This app does not receive your full card details. Cloudflare serves the website and installers and processes connection information needed to operate those services. This website includes no advertising trackers or third-party marketing scripts.
